Piper Borland’s Fighting Fund

In the lead up to the National Daffodil Day, Savi Organics is helping to raise funds for Piper’s fight with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL). At Savi Organics, we strive to give back to our community and help wherever we can.

Piper was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL) and has already started her battle against this disease. She is an incredible little girl with an infectious smile! Piper, her brother Max and parents, Damien and Hazel, are a wonderful family who have become very near and dear to us at Savi Organics.

Piper is a fantastic runner, exceptional swimmer, and an integral part of her rugby club and team at the Ellenbrook Rabbitohs for the U6 Red Bunnies. We would love to help her get back on her feet and playing out in the field with her friends.

Whilst her family are working hard to cover the cost of hospital stays and treatments, the road to recovery is a long one and there will be some unexpected expenses that arise.

The idea of this fund is to help cover some of the cost of these expenses, as well as the little things that we tend to forget about that add up during the course of the treatment process.

These include medications, parking at the hospital for hours or days on end, fuel for all the trips back and forth to the hospital, coffees for the hospital staff, or anything that Piper and her family may need to make every day a bit easier.

Savi Organics has set aside 50 packets of collagen for the fundraising. We are committed to donating all proceeds from the sales to the Borland family to aid in their fight against Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. Any profits from additional sales will also be donated to the Cancer Council Daffodil Day Appeal, supporting others going through challenging times and raising awareness for life-changing cancer research.
